[Play Unplugged] was a big success. We received lots of positive feedback from parents, businesses, and the kids. People were excited to have a pre-made plan of activities to get their kids out of the house, off the XBOX and out doing something positive. We had many businesses reorder their brag badges because of the high number of students participating. The businesses felt that it not only brought people to their businesses but also helped to build positive relationships with the community. We already have businesses calling and wanting to sign up for the program next summer. We had lots of support from the recreation department and we are working with them to hopefully bring the program back again next summer.

Play Unplugged was a phenomenal program that brought local law enforcement and our local youth together in such a way that a bond has been forged for life. We've tried for many years to create a relationship of trust between our officers and the youth. Play Unplugged was able to accomplish that in ways we could never have imagined.

We couldn't have paid for advertising the Pioneer Museum with the same outcome your Play Unplugged program has done. During May of this year we had 100 visitors. But June saw almost 500! Most of those patrons where school children involved with the Play Unplugged program. The kids seem to have an enjoyable experience at the museum. Many state they are coming back and bringing a parent or sibling. It is heart warming to see kids on Main Street twirling their lanyards and bursting with energy to get another tag. Thanks for helping parents with children out of school for the summer by giving them all kinds of things to do - rather than TV & computer.

What an amazing summer. Our visitor's center has become a 'community center,' locals have familiarized themselves with activities, events and local businesses around the valley that were unknown or not thought of. We had a tremendous amount of positive energy flowing through this office all summer long. I had the opportunity to speak with several families that said they normally would have spent their summer out of town. Thanks to Play Unplugged they stayed in the Heber Valley. Families spent their money at local businesses, ate at our restaurants, enjoyed the performing arts, hiked our trails, picnicked at our parks and most importantly spent time outdoors as a family!

Just had to let you know what a wonderful summer vacation we had this year by incorporating your Play Unplugged program! We spent 12 days up in the Heber/Park City area with cousins and grandparents and decided to join our cousins in collecting tags. We even changed plans to include some of the published activities, and the water balloon fight and chalk drawing were great additions to our family reunion cook out! We had SO much fun! What a beautiful city you have, and we were so impressed with how kind all the business owners were! Thank you for sharing this program with us - it was a highlight of our stay! Now if we could just find a way to move to Heber!!

I've been in business in the same location for 55 years. Remodeled 4 times. I've run a lot of programs, some of them crazy some of them not. This is one of the most successful. The key is to get the lanyards right into the schools. the kids do the rest. I would be glad to recommend this. A person can't go wrong if they look at it properly. Maybe the money up front is discouraging. But if the sponsor gives out something that is attractive at not too much money they will get these kids in, and guess what? These kids will bring their parents and older siblings. It's a win win.

I spent a few hundred dollars with Unplugged, but that turned into thousands of dollars in sales.

Participating with Play Unplugged has been a GREAT experience for our office! We enjoyed meeting all of the kids and their families as they came to pick up their brag badges. It was a cost effective way to benefit not only our practice but also be a part of the community. We will definitely be participating again next year!

McDonough Orthodontics - Salt Lake City, Utah

By far, this was the best program to increase our summer attendance and participation in our reading program. We are fairly certain Unplugged was the best buy out there. We had more response than ever before.

Hyrum Library - Cache Valley, Utah

The results in participants exceeded what we anticipated. We had 750+ come in to earn a brag badge.

Cache Valley Mall

The money was well spent because it got people in our door and we were able to schedule new patient exams.

Anderton Orthodontics - Cedar City, Utah

We enjoyed this type of marketing because we knew without asking how did you hear about us. It brought in a lot of parents & kids that didn't know we were in town. Plus they learned to give to the community.

Heber Valley Center Stage - Heber City Utah

As a a parent and full-time employee I loved the program. My children could complete activities during the day and then we would go pick up badges when I had time. As an elementary school principal it was a great benefit to our school.

Principal Lewis-Day - Taylorsville Elementary

Not only does it bring in new potential customers, but seeing the kids getting out & enjoying the summer time is priceless.

Shepherd's Carpets & Furniture - Spanish Fork

It was a very positive experience for both the kids and the parents. We had lots of foot traffic and people that have lived in Iron County for years and never been here. Several people said they would be back just because they experienced the area.

Brian Head Town - Resort, Cedar City, Utah

I had 234 participants in my Zumba Kids classes. They found me based on the unplugged program which will translate into more kids in my fall classes.

A great way to get the community familiar with the location of your business.

Leavitt Group Insurance - Cedar City, Utah

The exposure you receive from being an active part of the community is priceless. We had over 1500 people through our doors telling us about all the good deeds they have done for other people. We laughed, we cried, we cheered them on to do even more. What you get back not only as a business, but as a team is worth the price! Just do it!
